The chap8.keystore file shipped with the JBoss book examples seems to have a problem in it. I have a workaround and would like to ask whoever manages these examples to please fix this file for next release.

JBoss Book, chap 8, p. 302 lists this command:
keytool -list -v -keystore src/main/org/jboss/chap8/chap8.keystore

I get this response to this command:
keytool error: java.io.IOException: Too many certificates in chain

The workaround is to create the file yourself, based on the instructions on the same page in the JBoss book.

A little side curiosity - maybe the keytool has changed, but the Creation date I see is not nearly as precise as the one shown in the book:
Book's:
Creation date: Thu Nov 08 19:50:23 PST 2001
Mine:
Creation date: Oct 23, 2002
