    JBoss Doc on Non-Windows Computers?

    bplichta

It appears that ComponentSource, the place for purchasing JBoss PDF documentation, only supports Microsoft Windows machines for download. Does anybody know if this is true?

      Thanks.

I talked to ComponentSource today, and told them I had the 12-month subscription to the JBoss 3.0 docs. They sent me an FTP link for the current download, which you can use any platform you wish to download the file. The file is a zip file that you can use either unzip on linux, or winzip on windows to decompress.

ComponentSource has added a "Unix Edition" to all JBoss documentation in the JBoss store.

If you select the Unix Edition when purchasing JBoss documentation, you will not be required to download a Windows executable file as part of the download. You will be able to directly download the documentation .ZIP file.
