Dropping the version suffix

Folks,

how about having just

jbossws-3.0.2-native
jbossws-3.0.2-cxf
jbossws-3.0.2-metro

Since we have the jbossws version (i.e. 3.0.2) in the version id for every stack, the stack specific suffixes don't seem to add relevant information

Yes, good idea. The versioning scheme we currently use is really confusing.

This however means, that in JIRA we have to move the jbossws-3.0.2 issues to a particular stack. That's ok isn't it?

Yes, that's OK for me too. Particular issue can belong to multiple components (in our case stacks) ;)

An issue can actually have multiple fix versions too.
