    RichFaces, PortletViewhandler, ...  confusion

    andy.bosch

I try to integrate RichFaces into a portal (WebSphere!). Unfortunately I have quite a lot of problems. Because WebSphere Portal relies on JSF 1.1 I cannot use the 301-bridge.
When starting the application, I receive an error that the resource framework is not initialized. This can be explained, because servlet filters are not loaded in a portal.
Also I read some examples to declare a org.ajax4jsf.portlet.application.PortletViewHandler, but this class is missing in the latest release of RichFaces. Why?

So what is the recommended strategy to install richfaces in a portal?

      Thanks,
      Andy
