hello,
i installed JBoss-IDE 1.2.2 using the instructions found here:
http://aleron.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/sourceforge/jboss/release_notes_1.1.0.html
i'm using JBoss 3.0.2, Eclipse 2.1.0 and JDK 1.4.1
now when i try to edit a source file in Eclipse, i get the message:
Unable to Instantiate editor: org.elcipse.jdt.ui.CompilationUnitEditor
org.eclipse.core.runtime.CoreException: Plug-in org.eclipse.jdt.ui was unable to load class org.eclipse.jdt.internal.ui.javaeditor.CompilationUnitEditor
i looked in my plugins directory and there are no folders beginning with "org.eclipse.jdt.internal.*" - is this part of the problem? i do not recall whether such a folder/jar existed in ~eclipse/plugins before i tried installing the IDE plugin.
this is kind of scary. i just ... followed the instructions to install the plug-in and now i'm dead in the water.
thank you,
-robin
i looked in ~eclipse\plugins\org.eclipse.jdt.ui_2.1.0\jdt.jar, and it appears that CompilationUnitEditor.class is present ... if that matters.
