I try to install jboss 3.2.3 buy runing "run.bat" under directory bin, but I get the errormessage "The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect", inspite of I did right everthing according to the instructions.

Have you any idea about what is wrong?

Sounds like your environment isn't set up correctly. Make sure the values echoed for the Java executable etc are correct.

          Luke.

P.S. run.bat doesn't install JBoss, it just starts the server. There isn't an installation process other than unpacking the archive, so you should be able to work out where the problem occurs from the bat script.
