jboss + mysql

Hello,

I am trying to run a sample EJB webapp which accesses a MySQL database. I have JBoss-4.0.5.GA on my machine and MySQL 5 also. But I don't know how to configure JBoss to access the database.

Would be really thankful if somebody could guide me or point me to a resource which can help me do this.

You need a *-ds.xml file that describes the MySQL data source. You can find an example one at docs/examples/jca/mysql-ds.xml. Once you edit it for your database, copy it to server/xxx/deploy.
