Sorry, I ask the quesiotn hastily, I find I should refer to JBoss Messaging Document.
If you are new to JBossAS, I suggest you use version 4.2.2 instead. The 5.0.0 version is currently a beta released and has a variety of problems, especially in the area of deployment. And as you noticed, the documentation is not updated.
The 4.2.2 at least has jax-ws and ejb3 support.
This is Venkatramanan from AdventNet WebNMS.
Kindly let us know when Jboss 5 GA is scheduled to be released. We do understand the complexity in revealing the exact release date. At the least tell us a tentative release month which will be helpful for us to decide the Jboss version to support for WebNMS deployment. Also please tell us the version of hibernate jars which will be bundled with Jboss 5 GA. We understand, currently the hibernate version is 3.2.4. Kindly tell us whether the same will be retained for GA or GA will be bundled with a new version (& if yes what version of it) of Hibernate.
Thanks & regards
P.S I tried to post this as a reply to http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&t=129773 but it seems I am not a privileged member to post a comment in that forums, hence asking the same here.
I'm curious about the same thing that venkatramanan1 asks. Indeed, 5.0.0 still seems to have some deployment problems.
Although I didn't try it myself, one of my team members tried to deploy a JMS/MDB solution to Jboss 5. For some reason this failed and she was unable to find any documentation on how the deploy should be done.
It seems to me this is a fairly fundamental issue. We would love to beta-test your product and provide feedback, but it we can't even start using it there is little to actually give feedback on.
Anyone from Jboss cares to answer to questions asked above? Thanks in advance!
No one from Jboss wants to answer the question?
C'mon you guys... how hard can answering such a question be? At least you could say you are not going to answer the question because "insert reason here"
