Changelog from 4.0.5 to 4.2.3

Hi all. This is my first post and I don't know this is the right forum..

I would like to have information about difference between 4.0.5 version and 4.2.3, if 4.2.3 is totally compatible with 4.0.5 and what are the new features in 4.2.3 compared with 4.0.5.

Personally, I don't fine the JIRA changelog that helpful. It lists a multitude of JIRA issues that were fixed and many of the subject lines and descriptions leave much to be desired. A better summary of what changed can be found in the release notes - the readme.html file that comes with JBossAS (the 4.2.3 readme file contains all changes since 4.0.5).
