    vandavilli Newbie

      Steps completed:
      1) Copied the SQL 2000 JDBC drivers into server\default\lib

      2) Modified standardjaws.xml as follows
      java:/MSSQLDS
      <type-mapping>MS SQLSERVER2000
      </type-mapping>
      false

      3) Modified standardjbosscmp-jdbc.xml as

      java:/MSSQLDS
      <datasource-mapping>
      MS SQLSERVER2000
      </datasource-mapping>

      4) mssql-service.xml copied into the deploy folder

      5) deployed "jbosscmp-jdbc.xml" along with the jar into the jboss directory
      contents of the file:

      <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

      <!DOCTYPE jbosscmp-jdbc PUBLIC
      "-//JBoss//DTD JBOSSCMP-JDBC 3.0//EN"
      "http://www.jboss.org/j2ee/dtd/jbosscmp-jdbc_3_0.dtd">

      <jbosscmp-jdbc>

      MSSQLDS
      <datasource-mapping>MS SQLSERVER2000</datasource-mapping>
      <create-table>true</create-table>
      <remove-table>true</remove-table>

      <enterprise-beans>

      <ejb-name>OrganizationEJB</ejb-name>
      <table-name>ORGANIZATION</table-name>
      <cmp-field>
      <field-name>id</field-name>
      <column-name>ID</column-name>
      </cmp-field>
      <cmp-field>
      <field-name>orgName</field-name>
      <column-name>ORG_NAME</column-name>
      </cmp-field>

      </enterprise-beans>
      </jbosscmp-jdbc>

      I keep getting the following error message when i retstart JBOSS

      Depends On Me: org.jboss.deployment.DeploymentException: Error: can't find data source: MSSQLDS; - nested throwable: (javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: MSSQLDS not bound)]
