I'd like to use this forum thread to accumulate a list of requirements that need to be met (in terms of features/functionality) for Remoting 3.x to be included with JBossAS as a replacement for the various things using Remoting 2.x today.

So far the list just includes things mentioned at the JBW meeting:

- Remoting 2.x protocol compatibility
- JSSE transport option

We probably want to add tasks that are actually a part of the "migration" as well.
