What's the differences between jetty & tomcat?

Dear all,

I've found that the preinstalled version of nukes (jboss-3.2.1_nukes-1.0.0alpha.zip) use jetty as web module and cvs version use tomcat.

So, what is jetty and what's the differents between jetty & tomcat and which one is better?

jboss version now comes with tomcat that's why this container is used. Nukes use standard servlet features. we switched over tomcat 4 month ago.
