How to add a link in blocks?

Hi All,

I am new to this Nuke. I used to work on PN, now we are planning to migrate our sites to Nukes.

I want to add a Link to a Block. I have created a block, and set the read permission for all user. I am able to view the block. Now I have to add a html page that has some content. I want to add a link in my block so that I can show my contents to the users.

For example Main Menu having Home link..

this this a static html page, or is it dynamically created?

Whether the page may be dynamic or static..that is not an issue.

Is the HTML coming out of a document in the Nukes document repository, or is it static content bundled in a Nukes related JAR/WAR?

I think you are talking about the first - a HTML file stored in the Nukes document repository. When you create a HTML page in the HTML module, you give it a name, like '/index'. You can then display it with a URL like:

http://website/nukes/index.html?module=html&op=display&id=/index

hi,

I am talking abt this only..I think there is some communication gap(sorry for that)..

A HTML file stored in the Nukes document repository(that's what I meant in my query).
When you create a HTML page in the HTML module, you give it a name, like '/mypage'.

I want to add this url(link) into a Block.

like when you are looking at the Main menu block..you can see the Home link that is showing the home page content.

I gave you the URL you need in the previous posting.

You generate the HTML link to appear in the block in the block's render method.
