Problem while using rich:calendar

HI,

I am facing a problem in using the richfaces calendar component. By default it provides text box population. We have requirement of populating the seleceted values into three drop down boxes (day/month/year). So I have removed textbox. We are unable to get the values from the calendar object. Can anyone provide me the sample code or APIs used for reteriving the values.

this simpliest example alerts the user with choosen date. You could parse it as you need.

calendar JS API could be found at our demosite.

Is there any mistake on the code? I am not getting ant alert when use this code.

OK. Its alerting the date. But its showing the same date for everytime. Not showing the selected date.

Sorry, I've mistaken.. It should be getSelectedDate(), because current date - returns the first day of currently displayed month.
