I am reading the wiki.

In wiki, it is described as :

find the first rule in the list where the group applies and the pattern matches the test string
if such a rule is found
security is satisfied if level of rule < required security level (according to precedence)
else
security is not satisfied
----------------------------

I know the pattern string is defined in the xml file. But what is the "test string"? and where it is defined for each block/module?
