As noted here: http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBPORTAL-371. The old slide CMS supported this, and so should it in 2.4. The current Jackrabbit WebDAV server seems to be in flux, but I am hopeful it will be included in 2.4.

This allows integration with desktop tools like Macromedia Dreamweaver, Frontpage, MS WebFolders, etc...
