The mismatch in SVN and MVN names for projects means you have to create a redundant workspace. We either need to: 1) Change the project names in SVN to match the SVN names 2) Figure out how to get MVN's eclipse:eclipse to understand the difference in project names, e.g. jboss-container->container 3) Figure out how eclipse allows an existing project to be imported into the same workspace with a different name to the directory.
