Installing plugin without internet connection

Hello,
has anybody managed to install the JBoss IDE plugin on to a machine that doesn't have an internet connection? If so can you enlighten me?

I am using Eclipse 3.0 and have I tried extracting the zip file to the plugins directory but this does not work. The installation instructions just point you to an automatic update - which is not an option for me.

Same problem.
Zip extracted in plugin dir but this has no effect.
Does someone has the solution to thid problem ?
