xdoclet error on static import

Hi,

I am using JRE 1.5 and my code runs fine when using the new static option on an import "import static ...."

When I run xdoclet I get an ejbdoclet error when it hits the static line. Is there an update to xdoclet that fixes this problem or a way to tell it to ignore since it's not an error in 1.5?

I'm using jboss-ide 1.5preview 1.

This is a limitation of the XDoclet parser, not of any other tools: it simply doesn't recognize Java5's new syntax extensions.

There is no workaround known to me, apart not using the new Java Language features in classes that you need to process through XDoclet.

There is a path in the XDoclet bugtracker which accepts at least parts of the Java5 syntax...
