    Hibernate tools installation trouble

    Bernhard Hurzeler Novice

      Hello there,

      For the love of GOD!!!

we can not install JBossIDE-200605141632-nightly-ALL on Eclipse
Version: 3.1.2 Build id: M20060118-1600 with the Hibernate Tools properly!

      We also use:
      emf-sdo-xsd-SDK-2.1.2
      GEF-SDK-3.1.1
      JEM-SDK-1.1.0.1
      wtp-R-1.0.1-200602171228

      as described on http://download.jboss.com/jbosside/builds/nightly/buildResults.html

After starting eclipse (new installation) under
Help -> Software updates -> Manage Configuration
      Under c:\eclipse
Hibernate Tools 3.1.0.200605141632nightly has a big RED cross i.e. is not enabled/functioning. Hence we can't do any reverse engineering of our DB.

We can't make any Hibernate config files and we obviously get some error messages in the log, such as:
      ...
      !ENTRY org.eclipse.ui.workbench 4 2 2006-05-19 05:24:21.515
!MESSAGE Problems occurred when invoking code from plug-in: "org.eclipse.ui.workbench".

      ... 62 more

Please help as we are stuck. How do we install the Hibernate Tools and and the JBossIDE so that they actually work.

      Take care, Bernie.
