How does JBoss 4.0.0 support WS-Security?

Hi Folks,

I would like to know how does JBoss 4.0.0 (or JBossWS) support WS-Security? To be more specific, I would like to ask as follow:

- Does JBoss provide a configuration file appoarch for associating WS-Security with J2EE applications as provided in WebSphere 5.1 or WebLogic 8.1?

- If the configuration file appoarch is available, how much does it support? Say, does it support "XML Encryption" on any specific parts of SOAP messages or only for the whole SOAP body?

- If the configuration file appoarch is NOT available, is there any other kind of WS-Security supports available in JBoss 4?

- Where can I find more information on the WS-Security support of JBoss4?

All comments and suggestions would be very appreciated :)

WS-Security is currently not supported in JBossWS. However, we do support encryptions/authentication on the HTTP transport layer. It works in the same way as securing an ordinary web app.

WS-Security is on the roadmap for JBossWS.
