Step 3 - Install and Configure Seam and seam-gen

Download Seam from: http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/jboss/jboss-seam-1.0.1.GA.zip?download.

Extract jboss-seam-1.0.1.GA.zip to a convenient location. I extracted jboss-seam-1.0.1.GA.zip to C:/seam-workspace.

Download seam-gen from: http://wiki.jboss.org/wiki/attach?page=JBossSEAMGen%2Fseam-gen.zip. Extract seam-gen.zip inside your seam distribution. I extracted seam-gen.zip to C:/seam-workspace/jboss-seam-1.0.1.GA.

These scripts will allow you to quickly create new seam projects and generate key seam code, including new EJBs and facelets. More information about seam-gen can be found at: JBossSEAMGen.
