I have a connection to a stateful session bean and i stored some data in a serializable object or datatype. What will happen if i have a network failure?
When i get a new connection, is it possible to get my old data back?
How does the Container handle this problem?

Pierre
You can store a handle on your client and use it to recreate the connection to the EJB (EJBObject.getHandle). Container passivates the stateful session bean after a while to a disk, and activates it again when your client requests it.
