1. Re: HELP!!!! Warning error in a session bean
dhinojosa Nov 7, 2002 6:42 PM (in response to spoutnika)What are you returning in this method. The return type error is what it means. What you return has to either implement Serializable or be primitive. Also, just making an object Serializable doesn't necessarily make it so.

spoutnika Nov 8, 2002 12:00 AM (in response to spoutnika)hi
tx about your response.
here is the exact warning:
Bean : Manager
Method : public abstract EntityManager create() throws RemoteException, CreateException
Section: 7.10.6
Warning: The method return values in the home interface must be of valid types for RMI/IIOP.
and here my code:
ManagerBean implements SessionBean {
...
public void ejbCreate() throws CreateException {
}
...
}
ManagerHome extends javax.ejb.EJBHome {
public EntityManager create() throws CreateException, RemoteException;
}
what do think now about this warning?
