I deployed the same EAR application in RedHat8.0 and Windows98 with JDK1.4.1 and JBoss3.0.6.
All configuration are same except the OS, but I tried to output the HEX values of my inputed Chinese. The value in displayed in Windows98 console is: a741aabaa96da657
but in RedHat8 is: efbfbd41efbfbdefbfbdefbfbd6defbfbd57
Anybody can tell me what is the reason cause this difference in different OS, and how can resolve this?
