The SFSB is been removed on the server when it caused an unhandled runtime exception on the server or when it wasn't accessed for some time (timeout, maximum life time) or when remove is called on the SFSB.
If the client dies the session still exists. You can use the handle of a bean connect to the session whenever you like and the handle can be stored persistent somewhere.
