How can I determine the call is locally or remotly by writin

Hi,there:

From Marc's article "why I love ejb", it said by writing a customized interceptor, it only needs 10 lines code or so to determine the call is locally or remotly, that sounds pretty cool,my project happened to need the feature.

could someone give an example or some hints on how to do that? Thanks in advance!
