Urgent! javax.naming.CommunicationExcpetion:Receive timed ou

Hello! I have developed & deployed a session bean on JBoss and now testing the Ejb with a client.java file.But i am getting javax.naming.CommunicationException:Receive timed out.[Root Exception is:Socket Timeout Exception].

I increased the SocketTimeout from 60000 to 120000
in the SocketTttimeout attribute of transaction manager in the Jboss-service.xml file in the server/default/conf directory.My computer is in network and Jboss is installed on a different machine,
i access the jboss server thru its ip on telnet.
Please help me handle this exception its very urgent.

Set the IP for the JNDI server to your JBoss box
(in jndi.properties or in code).
