a warning from ejb about local transactions on a jta transac

when I start jboss then first use the system.a warning will generate like following: WARN [TxConnectionManager$LocalXAResource] Prepare called on a local tx. Use of local transactions on a jta transaction with more than one branch may result in inconsistent data in some cases of failure..this warning occur when the code through the session bean.what's the meaning about this warn?and will it influence the system's runing?//thanks

Your transaction is updating multiple resources within the same local transaction. It might cause inconsistent data just as the warning says. You might want to consider using xa-datasource instead of local-tx-datasource.

hmm, i'm having the same trouble and the warning appears to be making my updates rollback. at least, they're definitely not getting committed so i presume this is the trouble.

by "updating multiple resources" do you mean more than 1 database? i am only using one db but if the resources you refer to are tables then this may be the problem.

these transactions all worked fine on jboss 3.0.* but now i've upgraded to 3.2.2 i'm seeing the warning.

any thoughts?
