.jar -> .sar

Hello,

when i deploy my MDB with eclipse (MyEclipseIDE), i get a .jar file.
with a META-INF folder and a describtor (jboss-service.xml).

But a .jar file with a describtor ist a .sar file, isn`t it?
Can i just rename the filename extension .jar to .sar or is there anything else i have to do to get a .sar file?

Is there any need to rename it?

Could you tell me how i can, with Eclipse (with MyEclipseIDE plugin), create a .sar file?
I can create a .jar file and a describtor, but my JBoss doesn't find the .jar files, it finds .sar files.

If i just rename xxx.jar to xxx.sar (and create/copy the desribtor with path) JBoss doesnst find the describtor.

Here ist the answear for my question.

Create a JAR file that contains the Service Deployment Descriptor in the /META-INF directory and change the extension to SAR
