Invoke EJB Session Home from JMX Console?

Is it possible to expose EJB methods to the JMX Console?

I would like to be able to change a Bean to be in either Safe or UnSafe mode.... so I thought I could add a EJB method such as setSafe(boolean isSafe)....

No, you would have to provide an MBean that exposes this operation and does the actual invocation.

Thanks. I have done just that... created a small MBean (deployed in its own SAR)...

The MBean operations simply locate the Home of the EJB and do the operations.
