Deploying Third Party Components

Hello,

I have a J2EE app that uses some 3rd Party jar's (dom4j and Jasper for example).
To make those jars available for my app I'm putting them on the directory server/default/lib and my application is working fine.

I just wanna know if there's another way (than copying them to lib dir) to make those jar files available for my application.

Is it possible to deploy those jar's in my ear file??
The J2EE Spec defines something about that?
