Is there anything equivalent to IBM's WorkArea service to pass transaction related information among a distributed system using JBoss?
IBM's WorkArea service allows the creation of a work area where information can be stored. When invocations are made to other objects, even remote ones, the work area follows the invocation and can be referenced by the callee and transparently passed on when further (remote) invocations are made.
I see JSR 149 in the JCP related to this but I can't detect any recent activity there.
