pessimistic lock on entity bean on finder call?
In jboss 3.2.7, in the onMessage() of the MDB, I have a call to findByPrimaryKey() on a same entity bean (with different primary keys) through a session bean method. This call is in a loop, and after around 300 iterations, the entity seems to get locked, the transaction gets rolled back and I get the following stack trace:

Can anyone explain why the findByPrimaryKey() locks up the entity bean after a fixed amount of calls? My understanding is that finders should never do any kind of locking.
