BMT and CMT in the same Session-Bean

Can I write a session-bean with both CMT and BMT methods?
Specifically - if I have a session bean, managed completely be the container, and I want to add a new method, which uses UserTransaction - can this be done?

Once you have specified that the bean will have container managed transaction, then you are NOT allowed to operate on the transaction
