EJB 2.1 Timers

Hello,

I'm wondering if JBoss supports EJB 2.1 timers (javax.ejb.TimerService...), and if so, since which version. I know of other timer implamentations that JBoss has (TimerService) but do not look the one J2EE spec but JBoss specific.
