2 JBoss servers pointing to 1 database

Hi all,

Do you think it is a good idea to run 2 jboss servers pointing to the same database?

One jboss would have one ear file, and the other one would have a newer version of ear file.

The purpose is for certain users to be able to use new functionalities in one of the jboss servers, while leaving the rest of the users the older and the more stable ear file.

If anyone has had a good or bad experience on this, please let me know.

i haven't had any problem with multiple instances pointing to the same oracle install.
