1. Re: Serving several clusters with several virtual hosts.
henrik242 Dec 1, 2009 4:42 AM (in response to henrik242)Sorry, I made a couple of typos and there's no edit button:
* In the first code block there should be a ":", not a "." in the VirtualHost entries
* I ment "mod_proxy_balancer" when I wrote "mod_proxy_cluster" -

jfclere Dec 2, 2009 5:24 AM (in response to henrik242)Listen 7777 <VirtualHost *:7777> ProxyPass balancer://cluster-1/ stickySession=JSESSIONID|jsessionid </VirtualHost> Listen 7778 <VirtualHost *:7778> ProxyPass balancer://cluster-2/ stickySession=JSESSIONID|jsessionid </VirtualHost> # VritualHost host to receive information from the clusters. Listen 6666 <VirtualHost *:6666> ServerAdvertise on CreateBalancers 0 </VirtualHost>
Something like what is above should do the trick. But you have to configure balancer in bean description.
Note that the /mod_cluster_manager display all the nodes it has received information from. -

Thanks for the swift reply! I've added ..<property name="balancer">cluster-1</property>
.. to the HAModClusterConfig bean in mod-cluster-jboss-beans.xml andProxyPass / balancer://cluster-1/ stickySession=JSESSIONID|jsessionid
.. to the Apache VirtualHost. Now all requests just returns immediately, without any content. What did I miss?"jfrederic.clere@jboss.com" wrote:

Ok, so it's not specific to the current VirtualHost? Good to know. -

5. Re: Serving several clusters with several virtual hosts.
henrik242 Dec 9, 2009 10:19 AM (in response to henrik242)Thanks for the feedback. I didn't have more time to test this setup, it had to go live.
I'll try to recreate it when I have some more time.
