    Validation?

    twilight

While accessing a JSP page containing a useBean tag and some custom tags, I get the following output in the console:

[Default] Warning: validation was turned on but an org.xml.sax.ErrorHandler was not
[Default] set, which is probably not what is desired. Parser will use a default
[Default] ErrorHandler to print the first 10 errors. Please call
[Default] the 'setErrorHandler' method to fix this.
      [Default] Error: URI=null Line=37: org.apache.crimson.parser/V-035 env-entry env-entry-value
      [Default] Error: URI=null Line=42: org.apache.crimson.parser/V-035 env-entry env-entry-value

What does the part ragarding validation mean? Is it something I should worry about? The lines with the Error is also confusing... I've got a couple of enviroment entries in the web.xml file which is validated correctly at deployment time, so why am I getting that error? Or is it refering to some other enviroment entries? The page is working correctly though, but I would rather not see this output every time it is accessed... I'm using JBoss 2.4.0 with Tomcat 3.2.3.

      Thanks,
      \Anders

Does anyone have the solution to this one? It has come up a number of times but I have not ben able to see a posted solution (at least not to this group).

Since I do not watch this group very often (limited internet access) I would be grateful if you could copy any response to my email account as well as to this forum.

Thanks in advance for your help.
