sounds great but where do i download that?
i searched and could not find it.. actually, i can't even find how to download the version that i do have which is kind of weird.

when you say JBDS you don't mean the JBoss Tools right?
at first i wanted to go with that but had a lot of problems installing it on the eclipse (all kind of dependencies that i just could not meet).

Installing JBoss Tools have all the info: http://www.jboss.org/community/docs/DOC-10044

It also have a link to the free beta/candidate release of JBDS (https://inquiries.redhat.com/go/redhat/JBDS2) that link haven't moved so that should also be where you got your beta version from.

ok, so i should be installing the JBoss Tools and not the JBDS? since the link there is to the same beta i already have (you're right, that's where i got it from)

Did you actually follow the link ? :)

The download is named CR2, so it has the latest JBDS version.

sorry... you are right, i did not check out the link, just assumed it's the same version i have...

i downloaded the new version and now it works!!!
i had some database configuration that needed to be done but now that that is solved the skeleton project works...
