1. Re: Apache mod_webapp with jboss-embedded tomcat
steinarc Nov 28, 2001 3:34 PM (in response to sylvan)Change into the jboss/bin directory and execute the command "run_with_catalina.bat" (.sh on Linux)
Furthermore, none of the examples will work when you try to click on the links, the remedy is to create a war file and deploy it into the JBoss/deploy directory:
cd .../examples
jar -cvf examples.war *
cp examples.war $JBOSS_DIST/deploy
Don't ask my why :-) I just picked it up from one of the other messages posted here after searching for it for 2 days :-) -

sylvan Dec 5, 2001 5:49 PM (in response to sylvan)Well, this is clearly evident and it is what I did...
But it still does not work.
Thank you for your help,

jtwomey Jan 31, 2002 9:18 AM (in response to sylvan)I believe you will find the info you require in this thread.

There seems to be issues with using mod_webapp. It seems a few have been successful and it may have something to do with the platform you are using. I use mod_jk on a 7.1 RH Linux box. I run straight Tomcat(alone) on another machine using mod_webapp and I almost think mod_jk works better??
good luck
