2. Re: How do I add new Mime type (svg) to JBoss-Tomcat
jimotte Jan 7, 2002 8:14 PM (in response to jimotte)I got it to work with this in tomcat/conf/web.xml:
<mime-mapping>
svg
<mime-type>
image/svg+xml
</mime-type>
</mime-mapping>
<mime-mapping>
svgz
<mime-type>
image/svg+xml
</mime-type>
</mime-mapping>
although the reason the client wasnt recognizing the svgz was another issue (see related thread on compressing svg:
http://www.jboss.org/modules/bb/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&t=forums/ regular svg just make sure the content type is set to:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="US-ASCII"?>
<%@ page contentType="image/svg+xml"%>
with both the xml (the encoding you may want to change) and content type tags
Hope that helps- it got me going
Jim
