Cannot open connection warpConnection - File: pr_warp.c Line

I'm trying to access my 'webapp', which is deployed as a 'webapp.ear' file in the 'deploy' directory of JBoss.

1.) I just can't get the Apache-Jboss2.4.4-Catalina4.0.1 connection to work. (Error: Cannot open connection warpConnection, File: pr_warp.c Line: 239)
Accessing it through 127.0.0.1:8080/webapp works fine but not through 127.0.0.1/webapp.

2.) Plus, on the other hand an Apache + separate Catalina4.0.1 combination works fine. Webapp is distributed as 'webapp.war' in the webapps directory of Catalina.

Anybody an idea why I'm stuck here?

this configuration don't go for me but it seems that everybody use it. I use this:

About the apache configuration, i use 1.3.23 and i only add this lines:

LoadModule webapp_module modules/mod_webapp.so

And at the end of the file:

WebAppConnection conn warp localhost:8008
WebAppDeploy WebAppName conn /WebAppName
WebAppInfo /webapp-info

Remember that you have to start first jboss+tomcat and them the Apache.

I believe lasterra is running a non integrated package.

i don't understand what is for you "an integrated package"
Please help me because i have strange problems with Ajp connectors an maybe this you call "integrated package" is the thing that can solve my problems.

I posted a thread about it. If you can help me i will apreciate it a lot.

Sorry lasterra.
I miss read your posting, or should I say I did not actually take the time to READ your posting.
You are using the integrated version.(JBoss + Tomcat bundle).

Some people use seperate Jboss and Tomcats and connect them through wire.

Anyway, what is your problem?
If it is that you are having trouble with mod_webapp then the answer is to use the older mod_jk connector, it works fine.

Now i haven't any problem. All is ok, the only strange thing is that i can't upload files with mod_webapp, but with mod_jk al is ok¡¡¡
