OK..Don't bash me too bad here please, I am new to this EJB, JSP world. I come from the MS world, where everything just works...not secure..but works
I am running the JBoss/Tomcat single process config. I want to test out some plain ole' JSP's. I can get them to render if I create a WAR, and stick them into it...compile that WAR..And deploy it...But when I just copy the JSP to either the ..\deploy\ dir or the "WEBAPPS\ROOT" dir..No luck...What am I missing. I works when I just run Tomcat by itself.
Help
Have a look in the FAQ forum at
ERROR 500 mapping configuration for how to create
a simple root context.
Then just drop your jsps in the .war directory.
You might call the directory test.war to get
http://myserver.com/test/MyTest.jsp
