Charset problem

Hello,

I am using Strus1.1 beta + JBoss3.0(Jetty).

If I run JBoss in Windows(English version) platform, there isn't any problem in getting the 2-bytes character(Chinese, Japanese) in a HTML form.

When I moving it to Linux, I tried to display it in the console, but it just displayed some '???'.

In the JSP, I set the contentType="text/html; charSet=UTF-8"


This, in a English Windows platform also work, but why it doesn't work in Redhat 6.2 ?

Is there any important things I missed ?

there isn't any fonts missing from your jdk?

May be it related to browser and fonts in your system. I got it work with Netscape 6.2.3 in KDE (installed with Chinese fonts) under Red Hat 7.2 and Red Hat 7.3
