CrossContext does not work in JBoss-2.4.7_Tomcat-4.0.4

I've been trying to upgrade to JBoss-2.4.7_Tomcat-4.0.4.zip with no luck.
It seams that the crosscontext feature of Tomcat does not work in this release.

Have anyone else experienced this?
Do you have a workaround?


Here is part of my jboss.jcml:

Just making some noise here...

Is nobody expirience this?

I can't get the "crosscontext" working in this release.
I'm unable to forward a request to a jsp in a different web-context.

Please help...

well I can help by saying I don't seem to have had this problem.
Are you getting any sort of error message in your logs that looks out of place?

I recieve no error messages.
And this is the code in my jsp:

final String moduleName="/treeview";
final String url="/treeviewFrame.jsp";

RequestDispatcher disp = getServletConfig().getServletContext().getContext(moduleName).getRequestDispatcher(url);
disp.forward(request, response);
%>

It seams that the getContext(moduleName) returns "".

This code works in JBoss-2.4.6_Tomcat-4.0.3 but not in JBoss-2.4.7_Tomcat-4.0.4...

Can i ask how you have configured the EmbeddedCatalinaSX mbean in jboss.jcml?

This is infact a bug, not in Jboss (of course!), but in Tomcat 4.0.4.

The bug is present in Tomcat 4.1.12 again, is there a way to remove the Tomcat packaged with JBoss and use another version of Tomcat?

Or is it possible to install JBoss without Tomcat and run it with another version of Tomcat?
