1. Re: Deployment without earing
chgrimm Sep 27, 2002 2:59 AM (in response to ppena)you can create a sbrdirectory like myapp.war in the server/deploy dir.
jboss will trtet it like a war file.
beware to have at least the required structure an a minimal web.xml deployment descriptor
see my comments in http://www.jboss.org/modules/bb/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&t=forums/ for details
btw:
if it is ony about to be quick, why don't you write a simple script packaging your stuff together and copying it into the deploy directory -
2. Re: Deployment without earing
ppena Sep 27, 2002 12:44 PM (in response to ppena)Thanks for your help. I have the server picking up the directory in the deployment directory but how do I get JBoss to re-deploy after I copy in a single class that I have changed.
Thanks,
Phillip -
3. Re: Deployment without earing
jules Sep 27, 2002 1:37 PM (in response to ppena)try :
touching the top-level dd (application.xml or web.xml)
touching the top-level dir
moving the top-level dir out and back into the deploy dir
using the /jmx-console
