problem in deploying jsp and servlet in jboss

Hello,

Whenever I am making changes in servlet, changes are not reflected untill and unless I restart server. This is the case when I keep my servlet and jsp in .war directory(without creating .war file).
But this is not the case if I create .war file and copy the same to deploy directory.
Does it mean that for every change I should create .war or .ear file.

If this is the case then for change in jsp also I'll need to create .war file

pls explain. If you have your dir structure then do give me the same.

Someone post in this forums that in this case you should change file time stamp of web.xml, then JBoss will redeloy the web app.
