war directory outside jboss

can i have jboss point to a war directory that is outside the jboss installation home. for eg, lets say i have c:/mydir/test.war, how do i ask jboss to load this war directory. is it possible at all?

All you need do is to change attribute which is jboss_service.xml:


deploy/,file:/D:/project/.../my.war

[r_q_d]

As I successed in Jboss 3.2.1, if you have a directory like this:

c:/myproject/src/web/test.war/WEB-INF/...

then you should change the jboss-service.xml to following:


deploy/,file:/C:/myproject/src/web/


then you can access this by http://localhost/test/
