ioparra Jun 23, 2003 1:46 PM (in response to tpaulson)Did you ever get this thing to work? I recalled that the Flash Integration to J2EE was very AppServer specific. I haven't looked at the Macromedia site recently, but I recall that they only supported WebLogic, IBM and JRun.
Might be some sort of corporate agreement or something of the sort.

ioparra Jun 23, 2003 1:49 PM (in response to tpaulson)Just read through your error log. I can't say exactly, but I believe the boot strap is checking the appserver name and grabing a suitable driver(maybe a logger or something) from a factory. When it doesn't find a suitable driver for JBoss, it returns NULL resulting in a null pointer exception.
You'd figure they would offer a better warning before resulting in a null pointer exception.

dwood Aug 14, 2003 2:05 PM (in response to tpaulson)Have you had any success in getting this working? I am going through a similar task here and was wondering if you ever got this to work?

tpaulson Sep 29, 2003 9:07 AM (in response to tpaulson)No.
There did not seem to be much interest from either side of this integration problem. We finally just implemented the web pages using JSP with JSTL.
This is working out great.
